Danny’s Bio
Danny is a singer songwriter who has utilized many styles of music in the songs he has written. However, Danny’s deepest passion is in the style of the songs from the Great American Songbook. Danny believes there lies the next generation of great songs and song writers. Famous artist such as Lady Gaga, Rod Stewart, Michael Buble, Josh Groan, and Harry Connick Jr., have been remaking, and rerecording songs from the Great American Songbook. Their success in this genre of music has proven Danny’s belief that it is a very marketable style.
Music has been an important part of Danny’s life. It started early in middle school singing and writing songs in rock bands. He earned a degree in music from the University of Florida. From there he went on to perform in bands as vocalist and keyboard player. He has opened for famous bands like REO Speedwagon, The Outlaws, BJ Thomas, and Bobby Goldsboro. Danny has won national competitions 5 times, and his performances were included on the National Veterans Day PBS Specials. Some of his original songs have been broadcasted on radio and TV. He has recorded and worked with 5-time Grammy winner Bruce Swedien. Danny has also recorded and engineered songs for Bo Didley, Less Than Jake and Four Squirrels. Danny has songs on internet and mainstream radio, including Spotify, Pandora, Apple iTunes, and many more.
